It all began with a free mat class. Over a decade ago, Emily attended a free pilates class in Boston and became hooked. After attending Clark University, Emily built a career in marketing and PR, but always kept pilates as a cornerstone in her fitness regime. After seeing both her body and posture transform, she left the corporate world behind and pursued training through STOTT Pilates... and with a last name like Swet, it was meant to be! Emily teaches assorted fitness classes, but strongly believes that the development of inner strength coupled with the focus, clarity and efficiency of pilates is the perfect addition to any and EVERY body. She is thrilled to be part of the Black Rock Pilates team!
